Putting Prospects in the Right Places

Where is the right fit for the players in the upcoming NBA draft?

Minnesota Timberwolves: Brandon Ingram

SG Wiggins
SF Ingram
PF Towns

Hard time seeing the T-Wolves continue to lose if there team looks like this.

Phoenix Suns: Ben Simmons

PG Knight
SG Bledsoe
SF Booker
PF Simmons
C Len

Show me great passing in a small ball lineup.

Philadelphia 76ers: Kris Dunn

PG Dunn
SG Covington
SF Saric
PF Noel
C Okafor

Finally a competent player at every position.

L.A. Lakers: Jaylen Brown

PG Russell
SG Clarkson
SF Brown

Rebuild is coming along slowly. Jaylen Brown played at California and is a flashy player so he seems like the perfect fit for the Lakers if they keep their pick.

New Orleans Pelicans: Buddy Hield

PG Holiday
SG Hield
SF Evans
PF Davis

They aren’t going to resign Eric Gordon so they could use a SG and Buddy is the best one in the draft.
Sacramento Kings: Denzel Valentine

PG Collison
SG Valentine
SF Gay
PF Stein
C Cousins

Yes the Kings keep striking out with SGs, but it’s what they need badly.

Orlando Magic: Wade Baldwin

PG Payton/Baldwin
SG Oladipo
SF Hezonja
PF Gordon
C Vucevic

Magic aren’t sold on Elfrid Payton and need shooting. Baldwin is a good shooting PG.

Denver Nuggets: Timothe Luwawu

PG Mudiay
SG Harris
SF Barton/Luwawu
PF Faried
C Jokic/Nurkic

They need a wing and they aren’t a team afraid to go international.

Milwaukee Bucks: Demetrius Jackson

PG Jackson
SG Middleton
SF Antetokounmpo
PF Parker
C Monroe

The Bucks need a PG and I feel like it will either be Jackson or Baldwin. Baldwin is probably a better fit, but I have the Magic taking him.

Toronto Raptors: Dragan Bender

PG: Lowry
SG: DeRozan
SF: Carroll
PF Bender
C Valanciunas

Raptors clearly need a PF. I’m not sure if Bender is ready for the NBA. I would also consider C Jakob Poeltl with this pick.
